Flu Patients Notice
Patients will be advised to reschedule elective dental treatment if they suspect they have flu symptoms (fever, cough, fatigue, sore throat, body aches). Patients will be asked to delay all routine dental treatment until their current illness is resolved and the patient is symptom-free. The primary infection control goal is to prevent transmission of disease.
Patients who are in need of urgent dental care, and have been confirmed with the H1N1 virus, or have flu symptoms, will be offered a disposable surgical mask at the front desk and escorted to a treatment room immediately.
