Meet Dr Mc.Donald's Staff
Laura joined Dr. McDonald’s team in 2016 when she started her career as a dental assistant. She feels privileged to work with such a great team that strives to give the best care to our patients. Our patients are the greatest, and She enjoys getting to know each and every one of them.
Laura is from Nekoosa but is now currently living in Wisconsin Rapids with her new husband, Naul. They enjoy spending time with family and friends and going to the movies. In her free time, Laura likes to bake/cook, travel, and go shopping
Amanda graduated from North Central Technical College in 2009, and after 3 years of working as a hygienist, she finally found her “home” with Riverhill Dental in 2012. Amanda is thankful for her career in dental hygiene and finds her job to be very rewarding.
While she does love her job when Amanda’s not at work most of her free time is spent having fun with her loving husband, two amazing children, and two dogs. They enjoy camping, anything outdoors, and watching the Green Bay Packers of course!
Skye joined our team at Riverhill this past November. Like Dr. McDonald, She was born and raised here in Wisconsin Rapids. Skye graduated from the Weekend Dental Assisting School in Appleton. One of Skye’s favorite things about being an assistant is being part of a variety of different procedures throughout the day. Making her patients experience as enjoyable and comfortable as possible is very important to her.
When she’s not at work, you’re likely to find her outdoors. She loves fishing, four wheeling, and horseback riding. Skye loves spending time with family and friends. She appreciates nice weather and time with her dog, Teddy, too.
Tanya was born in Minnesota, and relocated to Wisconsin Rapids, WI in 1989 following a 3 year stay, with my parents, on the small island of Saipan in the Mariana Islands. She graduated Lincoln High School and started her college career at UW-La Crosse. She transferred and completed her first Associates degree in Occupational Therapy from the College of St. Catherine in Minneapolis. Tanya's first job was in Texas where, following a back injury, she moved home and started a new venture in the dental field. Tanya completed her Dental Hygiene degree at Northcentral in Wausau and is continuing to work towards her masters in Dental Hygiene. Tanya is a Polynesian dancer since she was 7, plays guitar and loves to sing. In addition to her many talents, she is also a volunteer EMT Basic on the Rudolph Volunteer Fire Department. Tanya has a daughter, a wonderful step-son, 5 grandchildren, two horses, three cats, and a great husband. She is living proof that your first career choice may not be the passionate path you were destined to take. Tanya has found her true passion and she loves it! She looks forward to making a healthy difference everyday for all those she has the privilege to provide care for.
